Meet Rebecca, Founder of Wired Differently
A licensed veteran educator who needed to escape public school with her two children, Rebecca Ferree founded Wired Differently to support neurodivergent learners through alternative, project-based learning.
Rebecca partnered with CAREvolution to launch a microschool under the name NOVA CARE Pod, part of the CARE Society and CAREducation Network.
Meet Reina and Amigas Sin Fronteras
Reina Vera, founder of Amigas Sin Fronteras, partnered with CAREvolution and CAREducation Foundation to bring adult learning and community-building to diverse women in the Northern Virginia region.
Amigas Sin Fronteras has partnered through shared programming, fundraisers, sponsorships, tabling events, retreats, workshops, and more.
Meet Taja, Jessica, Surafel, and Maraki
Taja Iglesias and Jessica Alicea, co-founders of Root to Rise Microschool, and Surafel Kebede and Maraki Berhe, co-founders of SYMverge technologies, partnered with CAREvolution to create OurMicroSchool, a custom CARE-Aligned digital platform to manage project-based learning and school communication.
Meet Belén, Executive Director of The Learning Quest
Belén Quellet is the executive director of The Learning Quest, a Virginia nonprofit dedicated to expanding and fostering learner-centered education approaches and systems.
For years, Belén and The Learning Quest have collaborated in the CARE Network to advance research, co-host events, and co-design programs such as the Everything Library in our Alexandria, Virginia campus and CARE Academy. Belén has been instrumental in the success of our learning ecosystem and continues to champion for the future of education.
